This wedding has been a long time coming and I’ve been counting down the days since they booked me! I’ve been friends with Zach for years now; I used to be his band’s personal photographer going on tour with them and documenting their shows around the UK, so I was over the moon when Zach asked me to photograph his and Katie’s wedding day!
This was my first time photographing at The Highfield house and what a stunning location it is! It’s one of the coolest venues I’ve had the honour of photographing with every room having its own unique interior design. I was honestly spoilt for choice for locations for photos and getting room details. The stairway made a great place to get a snap of Kate’s beautiful dress! Kate also had the most unique bouquet by literal Bouquets who hand-craft the flowers from your chosen book!
The Ceremony was hosted by Katie’s brother, which is such a special and personal touch. The day was filled with music from Disney Movies and musicals, it was like a fairytale. They chose a vintage Hollywood theme for their reception, dressing the room themselves with table toppers from their favourite movies. El Kantina made sure that nobody went hungry with their endless array of delicious Mexican food! The stunning wedding cake was made by our good friend Charlotte which was topped by a cool star wars cake topper!
