I have known Sophie and Kieren for a long time after photographing them several times playing with Pearl’s Cab Ride. Kieren would always say to me "one day you’ll photograph our wedding day", and that day finally came a few weeks ago!
Both bride and groom began their wedding preparations at Bardney Hall which is a beautiful Country House and Wedding Venue located in Barton Upon Humber. Friends and family then gathered for their formal ceremony at St Mary's Church. on the way back to Bardney Hall went for a lovely walk through the streets of Barton where we couldn't resist getting a photo by this striking pink door - The owner of the house was very pleased we chose her door as a backdrop! (She definitely had the best door on the street!)
We then arrived back at Bardney Hall for their stunning wedding reception! The marque on the lawn was perfect for hosting their wedding breakfast and speeches in the beaming sun. In the evening, Kieren and Sophie surprised everyone by joining their band Pearl’s Cab Ride for an entire set of funk & soul music. What a night it was!
